Grey woven rope softens the outline of a black metal stool without adding the visual bulk of a fully upholstered back. The Armen Living Felicia combines that open texture with light-grey cushions and a black aluminum frame. It is a candidate for a modern outdoor counter or a kitchen that repeats those cool neutral tones—not a promise of universal comfort or maintenance-free outdoor use.
Choose the 26-inch counter version deliberately
Listing checked October 15, 2026: product ID B0BQMXN5JH is the Armen Living Felicia in black aluminum, grey woven rope and light-grey cushions, with a listed 26-inch seat height. A 30-inch bar-height option is also described in the collection; it is not the version covered here.
Amazon.com was shown as both shipper and seller with an available offer. That is a dated observation, not a guarantee of future availability or delivery terms.
Materials and details supported by the listing
- Aluminum frame: the seller describes a multi-layer powder-coated finish. This is not a solid-wood stool.
- Grey woven rope arms: the open weave adds texture while leaving the surrounding room or patio visible through the frame.
- Light-grey cushions: the description identifies high-density foam and zippered covers that can be removed. A zipper alone does not establish that a cover is machine washable; follow its care label.
- Seller-stated capacity: 250 pounds per stool. This is a listing specification, not a load-test result from Fresh Space Decor.
- Indoor/outdoor positioning: the seller markets the chair for both settings and describes weather, UV, stain and rust resistance. Those claims do not establish immunity to corrosion, fading, stains or prolonged exposure.
Room fit matters more than the “bar stool” name
Compare the 26-inch seat with the underside of your counter, including any apron or support brackets, and leave comfortable knee room. Check the full width, depth and arm height in the current specifications before ordering; seat height alone cannot confirm that the chair will slide beneath your counter or leave enough space beside neighboring seats.
The cushioned seat and arms change how the stool feels and occupies space. Comfort depends on body size, posture and the time spent seated; the product description is not evidence that everyone will find it comfortable for long meals.
Style the black-and-grey combination without making it cold
- Warm modern: pair the black frame with a pale-wood counter and cream accessories. Repeat black once in a light fixture or planter rather than adding several competing metal finishes.
- Quiet coastal: use the grey rope beside sand-colored textiles and muted blue accents. This keeps the texture relaxed without needing nautical signs or motifs.
- Fall entertaining: put a rust-colored runner or a small amber arrangement on the counter, leaving the stools and their cushions uncluttered. Removable tabletop accents are simpler to switch than a new set of seasonal seat covers.

Care and purchase tradeoffs
Light cushions make marks easier to notice than darker upholstery. Removable covers can help with access for cleaning, but they still require the correct cleaning method and drying time. Use the manufacturer’s care instructions and plan protected storage for cushions when they are not in use; do not read “weather resistant” as permission to neglect them all season.
Choose another design if you need concealed storage, a backless stool that tucks fully away, or a different seat height. Confirm assembly requirements, cushion-care directions and the quantity included in the current offer rather than assuming a photographed grouping is a multi-chair purchase.
Check the exact version
The Felicia is worth considering when an open grey-rope texture and a black frame suit your space, and the 26-inch seat matches your counter. Its appearance is the main styling reason to shortlist it; long-term weather performance and personal comfort still need appropriate expectations.
