Black damask-patterned curtains with a gathered valance create a much more formal window than plain panels. This All American Collection set combines that decorative top treatment with an attached sheer and matching tiebacks. It suits a room where the window is meant to be a feature, rather than a quiet background.
Care correction: dry clean only
The current listing specifies “Dry Clean Only.” The article’s earlier machine-wash and tumble-dry instructions should not be followed. The product’s Materials & Care table and safety information both give the dry-clean-only direction. Follow the supplied care label for the exact set; do not infer washing, ironing or steaming temperatures from polyester content or customer comments.
The listing also says to keep the curtains away from open flames and heat sources. Keep fabric clear of heaters, candles and other heat-producing objects when planning the window arrangement.
What the four-piece set includes
The exact selection checked October 17, 2026, was Black, 63-inch Length, ASIN B06ZYSQ23T. The product bullets describe:
- Two drape panels, each 54 inches wide by 63 inches long.
- An attached valance and an attached sheer—not described as separate standalone panels.
- Two tiebacks.
- Fabric listed as 100% polyester.
The two panels and two tiebacks account for the four-piece description; the attached treatments are not four additional loose curtain panels. The listing’s rod-fit field says 2.5 centimeters. Confirm the actual header opening and rod requirements rather than assuming compatibility with every standard rod. A curtain rod and wall-mounting hardware are not established as included in these listed contents.
Coverage is not the same as a flat fabric width
Two 54-inch panels give a combined listed fabric width of 108 inches before gathering. That does not mean the set will make a full-looking treatment across every 108-inch window. Pleats and gathers use width, while the attached valance affects how the top is arranged.
Compare the chosen hanging point, desired finished length and width with the actual window. A 63-inch length should not be illustrated as a guaranteed floor-length result in every room. Other size and color options appear on the shopping page, but this article’s specifications refer to the selected black 63-inch set.
Style the black pattern with quieter surfaces
Let the damask pattern and scalloped-looking valance carry the ornament. Cream walls, plain upholstery and one restrained metallic accent can make the window feel intentional without repeating the same pattern on every surface. If the rug and sofa are already busy, consider whether the layered curtain treatment adds more detail than the room needs.

Use the look for Halloween without making it disposable
The black treatment can support a moody seasonal room without a spiderweb pattern. Add a small black-and-cream display elsewhere and keep the window fabric clear of candles. Remove the seasonal objects afterward while leaving the traditional window treatment in place.

Privacy and performance limits
The attached sheer is a decorative light-filtering layer, not evidence of guaranteed nighttime privacy. No independently verified blackout percentage, thermal rating or pollutant-removal performance is established here. If those are essential requirements, look for explicit specifications and an appropriate separate solution instead of treating the dark color as proof.
Likewise, the fabric description does not establish fade resistance, wrinkle resistance or a useful life after repeated cleaning. The value of this set is its coordinated decorative treatment; weigh the dry-cleaning requirement and attached construction against the simpler care or independent layers you might prefer.
